Finding the Beauty in Nature

“The good man is the friend of all living things.”- Mahatma Gandhi

The other day I was on a nature walk and came across this beautiful tree. I had to stop and take a picture, as I knew it was something I would want to look at again. In Florida, I would see trees and flowers all of the time but not like how it is in the Springtime in Pennsylvania. It takes on a whole new beauty to see the sharp blooming colors. As a child, my mom used to ask me daily, “What is it you noticed in creation that you could appreciate?” I would respond by saying the ocean, or a butterfly, or a cool cloud formation that I happen to come across. Recently, I seem to notice the blooming colors.

It is so important to notice the beauty in nature. Not for me, not for you (in that moment), but if you can see the beauty in nature on a regular basis, what else are you noticing the beauty in? So I ask you… What did you notice today in nature that caught your attention that you appreciated?
